Million Dollar Lasagna
🛒 Ingredients
12 lasagna noodles
1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)
1 small onion, finely diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 cups tomato sauce or pasta sauce
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp paprika
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Creamy Cheese Layer
1 cup ricotta or cottage cheese
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1 cup shredded mozzarella
¼ cup grated parmesan
Topping
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella
Optional garnish: parsley
👩🍳 Instructions
Cook the noodles
Boil lasagna noodles according to package directions.
Drain and set aside.
Make the meat sauce
In a skillet, cook ground beef with onion until browned.
Add garlic and cook briefly.
Stir in tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Simmer 5–7 minutes.
Mix the creamy filling
In a bowl, combine ricotta (or cottage cheese), cream cheese, egg, mozzarella, and parmesan.
Mix until smooth and creamy.
Layer the lasagna
Spread a thin layer of sauce in a greased baking dish.
Add a layer of noodles.
Spread a layer of creamy cheese mixture.
Top with meat sauce.
Repeat layers until ingredients are used.
Finish with noodles, sauce, and mozzarella on top.
Bake
Cover with foil and bake at 350°F / 175°C for 25 minutes.
Remove foil and bake another 10–15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Rest & Serve
Let rest 10 minutes before slicing.
Garnish if desired and enjoy!
